How To Find Cheap Essay Writer

How To Find Cheap Essay Writer People tell me I am a great author, nevertheless, I all the time examine myself with these fancy writers that use massive, amazing phrases. These comparability weakens me and offers me such inferiority complex. This is the main explanation for my procrastination; I all the time think I am not ok. The biggest difference between an okay writer and an excellent one normally isn’t expertise, but rather an understanding of simply what they can’t do. Of course it'll depend on the word processor settings, what font and font size you are utilizing and page margins. However, with a standard 12 point Arial or Times New Roman font and default page margins your outcomes ought to be about the identical. Examples of 750 word depend pages include high school essays, questions for take residence exams, product critiques and love letters. I could’ve just said that my was 2500 words and she would’ve never known the difference. I don’t perceive why I’m being punished for being honest. Why is every little thing word depend these days as an alternative of page count? When I was in school after I was youthful, all assignments had been page depend. Is this actually something that’s price complaining about? Using it as your own would not solely go against most school/college insurance policies, but it would be unfair to your self. Education is a powerful software and putting within the work is the only approach to truly gain that benefit. As sellers on platform must cross certain qualifications in order to promote their products, EduBirdie writers additionally need to complete the next qualifications to be able to be thought-about. A word depend of 750 phrases will equal about 1.5 pages single spaced or three pages double spaced. For assignments that require double spacing, it will take approximately 250 words to fill the web page. Again, the type of font used could make the word count larger or lower, nevertheless it’s a good rule of thumb for those who are simply looking for a common estimation. The fact is there isn't a definitive reply to this query. For example, if the task says the writing must be in 10-point font, it’s going to take a larger variety of words to fill a page than if the assignment requires a 12-point font. Worse, all three of these answers reveal a lack of know-how of the market by which writers are trying to promote storiesâ€"the identical market the place we brokers are selling tales. The important problem is to write the best essay you can, not the length of phrases. If you’re focus in solely on the words and not what you’ve written, your writing is rarely going to be good. Focus on what’s essential, not on things like this. If you sound like a bumbling idiot when utilizing huge phrases, you in all probability want to put the thesaurus down the subsequent time you write a post. More of Kerouac’s enduring opinionation may be present in The Portable Jack Kerouac. After writing your conclusion, you may suppose that you have accomplished your essay. Before you contemplate this a finished work, you must take note of all of the small details. Use our on-line word rely device to quickly count what number of phrases are in your essay or weblog submit. This isn't correct for educational papers with 1″ margins. My trainer advised me that I wanted to put in writing an essay that had 2500 words. I received marks off for not writing an essay with exactly 2500 phrases. That’s utterly ridiculous but my instructor refuse to reinstate the point she took off as a result of she mentioned 2500 phrases and not 2498 words. Once the writer approves the essay, the complete cost will be released. If the customer isn't satisfied, we've a money back guarantee. The content we provide you should serve only as a guide on your work and not the final product. Your strongest factors must be the first and final paragraphs throughout the physique, with the others falling in the center. Also, be sure that your paragraph order makes sense. If your essay is describing a course of, such as how to make a great chocolate cake, be sure that your paragraphs fall within the right order. Review the directions on your essay, if relevant.

PeoplePerHourReview Scam, Genius or Waste of Time

One option available to freelance writers, editors, or any other service type freelance workers, is the U.K. based website, People Per Hour. This freelancing portal is just one of the many third party sites that are designed to connect employers and small businesses with freelancers looking for work. This type of arrangement works for employers because they can post smaller jobs and hire extra workers, for one small project, a day, or even a week, that would normally be done by a staff person. It’s helpful for new freelancers because it makes it easier to find clients who are looking for project help. PeoplePerHour is a website where freelancers can not only browse through and bid on jobs that are posted by employers but can also choose to promote their services by posting an ad displaying their skills along with a price. This promotional service is a valuable way for freelancers to get themselves out there, putting their talents in front of employers. Getting Started with PeoplePerHour PeoplePerHour does not charge its freelancers for registering and setting up a profile. The process of setting up a profile is similar to other third party freelance sites. One of the things I didn’t care for about the getting started process for PeoplePerHour was that it was mandatory profile completion. Many of the profile fields were required in order to continue to the next section. You could not set up a user profile without providing a phone number, something I really hate to give out unless it’s absolutely warranted. In addition, you had to complete the profile fields in sequence to move on to the next one. The fact that I couldn’t jump around and fill in the information that I knew off the top of my head and then come back and fill in information that took more time, like my resume and skills listing, was frustrating. There was also no way to skip a section. One of the sections is â€Å"References† and you are required to connect to either your Facebook or LinkedIn account or add external website links to your blog, website, or a website with your work on it. I feel this did not need to be a required section. The final section of the profile is a personalization section. It requires you to submit a video or audio recording telling buyers about your skills. Apparently, profiles that include video messages will receive priority over those without video. You can opt to switch to a text document if you wish. Unlike other third party sites, you could browse jobs but cannot submit any bids until you have fully completed the profile sections. There are also sections to verify your identity, verify your payment methods, and to set your availability. It does save your profile as you fill it out so you don’t have to start over when you return but you cannot access anything on the site other than to browse jobs if your profile is not 100% complete. One feature I did think was unique to PeoplePerHour as I’ve not seen it on other third party sites is their referral program. Apparently if you refer a friend to their website via a link they give you, you can earn $45 for each person you refer who actually completes their first project on the site. Browsing for Jobs Once you’ve completed your profile, you can start browsing the job postings to find jobs you’d like to bid on. PeoplePerHour includes job postings in the following categories: Writing/Translation Accounting/Legal Design Admin/Secretarial IT/Programming Marketing/Sales Other One feature I did like was that there are several categories beneath â€Å"Writing† including: Blog Posts Company Profiles Report Writing Screen and Script Writing Editing and Proofreading Website Content Copywriting CV Cover Letter Ghost Writing Company Profile E-Book Letter Creative Writing Email Newsletter Technical Writing At the time of my review PeoplePerHour had limited jobs compared to other freelance sites. There were only about 400 jobs posted under the writing category which is far less than other third party freelance sites. I did like the option of searching for jobs based on an entry level, intermediate, and expert. This made it easy to weed out the lower paying projects and focus on the higher paying ones. There were approximately 100 expert level jobs listed but only 3 had been posted in the last 24 hours on the day that I did my review. I think being able to sort by these categories would be a great time saver for freelancers because you could quickly search for beginner screen and script writing projects for example or expert technical writing jobs. This saves freelancers time by enabling them to quickly look at those jobs that are best suited for them. Cost Fees With your free membership, you can bid on up to 15 jobs per month. Although it’s not impossible to get started this way, most new freelancers will find they need to bid on more than 15 jobs each week. PeoplePerHour does allow you to purchase additional bids at a cost of $6.50 for just 5 bids. If you are just getting started, I recommend you keep applications to at least 15 jobs out there at all times. Compared to other third party freelance sites, PeoplePerHour is higher so keep that in mind. Most third party sites charge a commission fee of up to 20% on any income that you earn as a freelancer. This is normal and it’s how they make money. PeoplePerHour charges only 15% commission for the first $280 earned from each client monthly. After that initial amount from each client in the month, the fee drops to 3.5% for anything billed and paid by the same client in that month. That sounds pretty good considering other third party sites like Freelancer and Upwork charge 20% or more commission fee until you earn a specific amount from one client. One warning if you do decide to try PeoplePerHour make sure that you understand service fee tier completely and the consequences if your account becomes inactive. Some users indicated that when their account was inactive for more than six months, they were charged an â€Å"admin fee† which was not returned once they became active again. I did appreciate the flexibility to use several different methods for withdrawing funds from PeoplePerHour. It appears they support Paypal, Payoneer, and Skrill in addition to Bank and ACH Bank (U.S. only) accounts. Customer Service I’ve not had personal experience with the customer service of PeoplePerHour but based on the reviews that are out there, it appears that the main complaints are over freelancer payments. Complaints include freelancer payments that seem to have just disappeared even though the client paid and work was completed, freelancer payments being withheld without a clear reason, a security hold period for payments that is longer than it is supposed to be, and refunds to employers being given during disputes with no chance for the freelancer to contest. There were several freelancers who claimed that their accounts had been closed without any concrete reason at all once they had significant earnings in their account. Attempts to contact customer service appear to go unanswered, although one reviewer said you can get a response quicker by going through the PeoplePerHour Facebook page. PeoplePerHour seems to have some good features as far as their referral program, the ability to filter to search listings, and their option to create a freelance service ad. The charge for purchasing bids above the 15 free ones could be prohibitive if you aren’t successful in getting work from those extra bids. In this case, I have to recommend extreme caution in using the site because of the numerous complaints about freelancers actually getting their earnings. No freelancer can afford to expend time and energy finding work and completing the work and then not get paid. If you choose to give PeoplePerHour a try, withdraw funds as quickly as possible rather than letting them accumulate. I wouldn’t recommend relying on PeoplePerHour for all your income, as there are many other sites out there that have more stable reputations, including Upwork and Freelancer. To read about other freelancing sites out there, click out this article, written by FWU’s founder PJ Aitken.

The Solow Swan Model An Economic Model Of Long Run...

Qualitative Analysis The Solow-Swan model is an economic model of long-run economic growth in neoclassical economics. The model was developed by Robert Solow and Trevor Swan, independent of each other in 1956. This model is sometimes referred to as simply the Solow model, or the Neoclassical Growth model. The model focuses on four variables: output or GDP, capital, labor, and â€Å"knowledge†. The textbook Solow-Swan model is set in continuous time where there is no international or government trade. The Solow-Swan model is originally an extension of the Harrod-Domar model, which is what the two economists Solow and Swan derived their function from. They extended the model by adding labor as a factor of production, and capital-labor ratios are no longer fixed which made the Solow-Swan model stable compared to the unstable Harrod-Domar model. Today the Solow model is used by economists to estimate the separate effects on economic growth of technological change, capital and labor. Additionally, the model has been used to help explain growth differences between countries and help address economic growth issues. Quantitative Analysis There are many assumptions that go into the Solow Model since it is a model in a pure production economy. Australian Taxation Law and GST Reforms †MyAssignmenthelp.com

Question: Discuss about the Australian Taxation Law and GST Reforms. Answer: Introduction In an economy there are number of taxes imposed on industries, organizations, individuals etc. By imposing such taxes the government of particular country generates revenue to undertake various activities of development. Broadly there are two types of taxes namely: Income tax and GST. In Australia currently GST is charged on almost every good and services at a rate of 10%(Mccout 2014) and Income tax in Australia is charged at different rates. In Australia income taxes are as high as 22.78-30.13%, if an individual is earning a sum of $87,001-$18, 0,000. If an individual is earning $18,201-$37,000 then the person is liable to pay taxes of 0-9.5% on his income. Now if we see this difference between the tax charged under GST and the taxes charged under income tax has a huge difference. In this project, we are going to study about the GST Income tax in detail. Critical analysis What do you mean by GST? GST is good and services taxes that are levied on most of the goods and services in Australia at a rate of 10%. GST was implemented in taxation structure of Australia in the year 2000. Now if talk about Income tax, these are the taxes that an individual, firm, organization needs to pay on the income earned by them in a year. If we compare GST and Income tax of Australia then we will see a huge difference in the rate of both of these taxes. Where GST is as high as 10% only, Income tax may reach up to 45% on the earnings of the individuals or firms. Most of the population in Australia is in favor of increasing GST, in order to lower the rates of personal income tax(McKenzie 2009). Increasing GST Now firstly we will discuss if that happens, how it is going to affect the Australian economy in a good way. GST is levied on goods and services, and goods and services are bought by everyone. GST is payable by its end users hence it is really difficult to avoid such taxes(Reuters 2017). In Australia if the rate of GST is increased even by 5-8%, it is going to benefit the government in a very good way. Goods and services are the need of everyone; no one can live without goods and services. Even the poorer of the peoples manages to buy goods or services (food, clothes) etc. So when an individual or anyone in an economy buys goods or services, they become liable to pay GST on the services or the goods acquired(ghose 2017). Now if we talk about Income taxes, Australian government does not charge anything from an individual who is earning $1-$18,200 in a year. Now the people falling under this bracket are not supposed to pay any taxes. However these peoples are liable to pay GST. When an individual works hard for a year and at the time of paying taxes, it really crunches his heart to pay a large chunk of his earning in the taxes, whereas when a person goes to market and buy goods or services, they do not even bother about GST or anything. Hence GST is not a noticeable tax(Arun 2015). Most of the goods and services falling under the area of education, fresh food beverages are exempt from taxes of GST(al 2017). Only 48% of GST is paid currently in Australia, which is considerably low when compared to the income taxes. Decreasing or Maintaining GST We will now talk about the cons of increasing GST and lowering the income taxes. The current population of Australia is 2, 46, 41, 662. Only around 10% of the working population of Australia has paid 50% of the income taxes in the year 2014-15(kelly 2015). The sum paid by this 10% of the population was AD $176 billion. This is way more than any other taxes received by the Australian government. So it is an obvious thing that a government will impose taxes on such areas, where the revenue generated is enough to develop the entire economy. GST is exempted on education, fresh foods and beverages, where as income tax are only exempted on the people earning AD 1$-$18001. So Australian government has a bright scope of earning more revenue from the income tax payers. Conclusion After observing and going through all the facts and information a detailed conclusion is provided here, Australian government should revise its GST tax rates and income tax rates as well. There is a need to increase the GST slightly so that, a little burden of income tax can be reduced from the shoulders of the income tax payers. GST is a tax that is not noticeable, hence it can be increased to a point where it do not effects the pocket of the tax payers but proves out to be the most efficient and effective way of generating revenue for the government(irvin 2016). After considering the income tax rates in Australia, they are way higher than that of GST. In order to achieve best results out of their taxation structure, Australian government can broaden the area of GST by not exempting the taxes on fresh food beverages and education. However they can be charged at a different rate from the rich and the poors. By this the Australian government can ensure equitable growth in all the sec tors of their economy. My Mothers Daughter free essay sample

I remember the Christmas of ‘98. My mother was weeping by the christmas tree. My sister was still a baby then and did not know what was happening. I was confused; shouldn’t Christmas be a happy time? That was the first time I realized that my family was imperfect. I later found out that my mother’s reason for weeping was because my father was spending Christmas night with another woman, and many other nights with her as well. The image of my mother crying on that fateful night still makes me sad.I was born to a gangster father and an ill-fated but intelligent mother; it was romantic enough but traumatizing as well. My father was comparative to a big bee; he pollinated the flower and left the flower and two buds alone with only their thorns to defend themselves in a vast and dangerous world. My parents were divorced after my father showed abusive behaviors towards my mother. We will write a custom essay sample on My Mothers Daughter or any similar topic specifically for you Do Not WasteYour Time HIRE WRITER Only 13.90 / page He would hit her and call her â€Å"ugly† and â€Å"fat†. He would borrow money from shady groups and put her name on their hit list of people they should go after in case he never returned the money. When he did that, it was like he was signing my name on that list. It made me very sad. when I was very young, my father took away everything that my mother and I could have lived on (our money and our home) and decided not to be in my life in any fashion. He left us without any child support or any financial support. So, I was raised fatherless by my mom.I was five and waving good-bye to a man who was almost a distant reality behind a glass panel at the airport. I did not know where I was going. And that was the last I saw of my father. I was crying then. Times were difficult after my mother and father seperated. There were times when we had to go to garage sales to get our clothes and Goodwill to get canned food. We transferred to and from numerous temporary homes whose rooms were filled with worried voices late at night; filled with conversation I could not yet understand. Dinner was often a little piece of bread that we got off food stamps. I would look at my mother and know that she suffered and sacrificed so much just so I could live. The thought would fill me with guilt.I was too young to feel embarrassed by our situation, but looking back, I imagine how embarrassed my mother must have felt. Still, I believe it is better that we left my father. my mother would have gone through so much more needless suffering. Time away from him would distance us from the chaos allow us to grow, to accept the brokenness and distance ourselves from the chaos and violence. Without him, love between a broken family could blossom again. Despite how she was treated by my father, my mom always taught me to treat others with respect and kindness. My mother, despite being beaten and abused, did not become callous but remained compassionate. She was always ready to give to those who were as unfortunate or even more unfortunate than us. When time and time again, I saw my mother (almost penniless) stop her car and roll down her window in the rain, just to give the homeless the very little she had, I chose to be a learner, a giver and a believer. Several years later, with her words echoing in mind, I traveled to deprived Ghana, Africa to attempt to be my mother’s daughter; to care for orphans and show them that somebody in the world loves them. I was scared and lonely, without my family and without comforts like running water. Still, I went beyond myself and way outside my comfort zone to reach out to children who feel traumatized as I did before and showed them somewhere in the world, somebody cares about them. I found out that they were being physically and emotionally abused and pleaded with the director of the voluntee r program to take them to a real home. I wanted them to have a home, something I’ve never I’ve had. I wanted to be like my mother, who, after enduring so many hardships because she had to support me, didn’t abandon me and showered me with love and warmth.Though there was no running water, internet, and food was scarce, I was repaid in full every early morning when the African school children greeted me the moment I walked into the school with smiles and excitement on their faces. â€Å"Yifu, yifu,† they would say. That was African for â€Å"white people.† I was happy and I felt so in touch with the world when I was able to teach these children simple math, English, and health information, including instruction regarding HIV. These were subjects that I was well acquainted with because the U. S. mandates that all children attend school. These were subjects that only a couple of these underprivileged children knew at all because quality education in Africa is reserved for children whose families can afford it. While the experiences I had at the school for underprivileged kids made me painfully aware of how little these children had, the conditions at the orphanage I was staying at broke my heart. The woman who ran the orphanage was extremely abusive and starved the children, beat them with closed fists, and forced them into child labor. I had several children tell me this verbally and I knew they were being truthful by the thinness of their bodies. Some children were kept from going to school to tend to the shop this woman was profiting from. Whenever I returned to the orphanage from school or play, the orphans would gather around me and follow me happily and I never knew why. Gradually I realized the reason why they were so happy whenever I was home was because this woman couldn’t beat them in front of me. For those two weeks until I left for home, I stayed by the children’s side at all times, and made it a point to record every single event in my journal. I would take them on walks and carry the littlest on my shoulders. I fed them my food during meal times. I would use my spending money to buy them the food they deserved but never received from their caretaker. I wanted them to know so badly that this Yifu from a distant land loved them. And I think they knew that judging from the smiles on their faces. My experience in Africa opened my eyes. One, it opened my eyes to how lucky I am to live in the U.S. and have people who care about me; to have someone care for you and love you is truly a luxury that not all of us can say we have. Two, and more importantly, I realized that that there’s a lot of work to be done and a lot of help to be given. My dream is to be a psychologist to help people with my conditions. College will help me get there. When I was young and immature, a kind woman taught me to treat others with respect and kindness. When I was hurt, a kind woman put a bandaid on my wound. When I was little and sick, a kind mother was there beside me to check my temperature and hold my hand. Now, it is my turn to be brave. It’s my turn to hold on to the hands of those in the dark and reassure them that they will again see the light of day. I am not the product of a chaotic and violent relationship; I am my mother’s daughter. My Mothers Daughter free essay sample There are many responses to the question, what are you? I am short; I am pretty. I am a student; I am a teacher. I am a sister; I am a grandmother. If you were to ask me that question, I would simply say: I am my mother’s daughter. I have her hair, her face, her skin, her passion. I have her writing ability, although probably not to the same extent. All of this is mine, but I do not have her. My mother died on April 21st, in 2007. I was naive and twelve years old that day. I had no idea about all of the pain I would have to come to accept as I walked into that hospital room. There had been rough times, as all children and their mothers have, but I now know that all of that was mainly due to medicine and stress. My mother was the only person in this world that truly saw who I was, and loved me more than anything despite my downfalls. We will write a custom essay sample on My Mothers Daughter or any similar topic specifically for you Do Not WasteYour Time HIRE WRITER Only 13.90 / page How does this describe who I am? I want to be a shorter replica of my mother. My ultimate hero in life, this person that was so small compared to the rest of the world, was the light in my life and my most loving nurturer. Thus, I am, or strive to be, who my mother was. My mother was kind. Her kindness was so genuine and raw, so naive and beautiful, that I do not if I will ever reach her level in that aspect. She was loving, unendingly loving. And in return, everyone loved her, even though I do not believe that she saw this. Going to teachers’ retirement parties with her, I saw how everyone seemed to revolve around her utter grace and beauty. Her kindness and graciousness shown like a light. She was, quite literally, the sun that pulled everyone in and shown a light on them too. She was polite without fail, always gracious and considerate. She tried so very hard for me. Besides her diseases that I had no knowledge of, her age held her back from being one of the active, young mothers that I saw. I can see all of this now because hindsight is, indeed, always 20/20. I know so many more facets of my mother now than I did when she was alive. Her unlimited kindness, even to those that she did not like, was one facet. Her sense of family and love for them is another. I saw this with how much she tried to show indifference to my grandmother, but how much she really just wanted approval. The week that my grandmother passed my mother cried and became like a small girl again, the loss hitting her hard. The way that she spoke of her father, my grandfather that died before I could know him, was like she was talking about the world’s greatest hero. Her kindness came from him, I am sure of this. Her most acclaimed facet was her teaching. I saw this in letters that her students sent her, thanking her for her guidance and wonderful presence. Her sweetest facet was her love for my father. I saw this when they would kiss or hug in the kitchen, and I see it now in the few photographs that I have of her. Her facet that I like to think I have inherited was the kindness and love she had with her friends. She knew the real from the fake, and each one could truly see how wonderful she was. She was the voice of reason, and she always knew when they should stick up for themselves, and she was very protective. I like to think that I follow this path with her help in my friendships. My favorite facet was her love for me. I can see it now in her eyes; hear it in her voice, how much she tried and how much she loved me. She tried to live for me, and I see that now. She taught me everything that I would have to know if she was to leave, and for that I am grateful. She hid things from me, and while sometimes I wish that I had known, I know that it was her care for others that kept her from telling. She wanted to break down, but she did not want me to see her lose her strength, and she did not want me to be afraid. I am not afraid. My mother taught me this . She taught me more valuable lessons than she probably knows. She taught me to be kind, polite, and a good person to everyone. She taught me to look people in the eye when I spoke to them. She taught me to always hold my head up high, and to have self-respect and to never lose it. She taught me that I am beautiful, and that I should not settle for something that I do not want. She taught me how to love, and how to see how hard others try, and how to try hard for them in return. She taught me that you do not get things handed to you in life, and that you have to chase after your dreams if you ever want to reach them. She taught me how to be strong, how to look pain in the face but still be happy. My mother is still teaching me things, everyday. I feel closer to my mother than to anyone that is living on this earth. I have a strong connection with her, and I try to let her guide me like she would if she were still here. I miss her more with each day, but I try to live for her, and to bring her life back to this world for others to see. Most importantly, my mother taught me to never give up hope. The one thing that she said to me that I will never, ever forget was this: â€Å"Never give up hope, because when that’s gone, you have nothing left†. I will never give up hope, and I will never give up my mother. So you ask me, what am I? I am simply this: my mother’s daughter.

Taylor McCauslin Essays - Stacey Slater, Free Essays, Term Papers

Taylor McCauslin Essays - Stacey Slater, Free Essays, Term Papers Taylor McCauslin Nick Lakostik English 1100 September 8, 2015 A Childhood Impact I am eight years old. I'm sitting in the back of my mom's old white Cadillac. My mother and Aunt Jessie are talking quietly to each other up front. After we pick up Aunt Jessie, we drive to a large brown, brick building. There is a group of people outside waving signs and yelling at all of the girls who come out of this mysterious building. Why are they yelling at them? These girls seem so sad. Sometimes, I'll see a guy holding a girl who is crying. I'm scared. I look up at my aunt just before she walks into this building. Silent tears stream down the sides of her face. I don't understand. If this building makes people sad, why do they go in? My aunt looks at my mom and says, "This is the last time. I can't keep doing this." My mother doesn't respond until Aunt Jessie is away from our view and inside the building. She looks at me with sad eyes and says, "It'll be okay. Aunt Jessie will be back soon." I want to ask questions. What's going on? Why is everyone sad or angry? When can we leave? But I'm too scared. So I sit quietly and stare out the window at the angry group of people with the giant signs. After what seemed like forever, Aunt Jessie comes out of this awful building and gets back in the car. I can't really see her face. "Are you okay?" Mom asks her. She doesn't respond immediately. Aunt Jessie looks up at my mom and starts violently shaking and sobbing. I am very confused and even more terrified. My mom hugs her and comforts her while whispering, "It'll be okay," over and over again. I remain quiet the rest of the way to Aunt Jessie's house and then back to ours. It wasn't until three years later I understood what happened on this day. My aunt had an abortion. Falling to Pieces It's a couple of weeks after my fifteenth birthday. Today is a good day. I have no homework, I aced a huge test, and I didn't have to work. I am getting ready for bed the same way I do every night. I'm getting ready to take a shower when my new cell phone starts blaring from my pink dresser to the right of my turtle tank. I look at the screen and briefly ponder whether or not to answer. It's my best friend Stacey's mother. I assume she's calling to ask where she is again. Stacey has a habit of sneaking out and getting caught. But I answer it. Little do I know that this phone call will change my life forever. I drop the phone and run to where Stacey and I used to go to hide from the world. My mother calls after me as I head outside but I barely hear her. I can only focus on those few words running through my head over and over again. I feel nothing, but I know the pain is coming. As the tears finally begin to fall, I think about all of those times Stacey and I shared together. We've helped each other through so many hard times. But I remember one time in particular when Stacey had met a boy named Ethan. She thought she was in love after only three weeks of dating. I tried convincing her that she sounded crazy to no avail. After about four months of non-stop talk of Ethan, Stacey unexpectedly came over to my house. She was in tears. I grabbed her and held her until she settled down. "What happened?" I asked. She reached into her bag and avoided my eyes as she handed me a thin object wrapped in tissue paper. As I took it from her hand, I gently unveiled this mysterious object that seemed to be the source of so much grief. My stomach immediately sunk as the bright blue plus sign on the small screen glared at me. I held her for the rest of the night through several bouts of tears. Stacey had decided on a plan. I was wholeheartedly against it. I

Organizational Buying Processes Versus The Consumer Buying Processes Essay

Organizational Buying Processes Versus The Consumer Buying Processes - Essay Example Consumers also go through the same stages of buying process as the organization starting from identifying the need for purchase and ending at building an opinion for future purchases. The difference between the two buying processes is that consumer buying is for personal use, or for the use of family or household; whereas, the organizational buying is either for further production of goods, or sale to consumers, or usage within the organization. Another difference is that business buying involves a few large scale buyers; while in consumer buying, there are a lot of small scale buyers (who are the consumers). Also, the demand of products or services in organizational buying actually depends on the demand of products and services from the consumers, and it is not vice versa. Demand of products in business markets does not depend upon the change in price whereas the demand of products in consumer markets depends upon the change in price because consumers decide upon the purchase after considering the price. Hence, organizational buying is price inelastic; while, consumer buying is price

Case Study 02242 Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 2500 words

Case Study 02242 - Essay Example The project with the highest cumulative of cash flows should be chosen. In this case, Alpha is this project. The accounting rate of return also tells us the project that will have more or less profits at the end of the period. The project that has less ARR will have less profits while the project with more ARR will have more profits. From the calculations, Alpha has the highest ARR, therefore, it will yield the highest profits. It should therefore be preferred. Lastly, by looking at the payback period, we need to choose the project with the shortest period. Payback period indicates the time that the project will take before it repays its initial cost of initiation. The project that meets this condition earlier is more preferred as it enables the owners to begin enjoying the profits earlier. Alpha has the shortest period, hence it should be chosen. It is a method of evaluating investment by taking the average accounting operating profit that the investment can possibly make and dividing with the average investment made over the life of the project. It expresses this as a percentage. This method has a weakness of not being keen on time observation as it does not consider when revenue or losses are made (Elmmendor, 1993). It also does pay much attention to accounting profit instead of the absolute profit realized from a particular project. The bigger the value or ARR, the better the choice for any competing projects subject to these projects not exceeding the projected time, hence ignoring time value of money The method is easy to manipulate but it ignores uncertainty of accounting profits. However, it does have the advantage of relating profit to the amount of investment made as well as giving its answers in terms of percentages which is a preference of some managers. Some of the advantages for using this method is the fact tha t it is easy to use when carrying out comparison on projects. It also has a

Friction on the ramp Essay Example for Free

Friction on the ramp Essay As you can see from the graph, as h1 is increasing, the horizontal distance also increases. The graph is more or less a straight line because the horizontal distance travelled by the ball baring in each interval should more or less be around the same. However it didnt show that the y-component is directly proportional to the x-component. This could be of the inaccuracy of the equipment, measurement and air resistance when in travelling in the air and friction on the ramp. The accuracy of the meter ruler is quite poor when it comes to measuring the point at which the ball has landed. Therefore the uncertainties would be measuring precisely the point at which the ball baring had landed. It will be more or less i 1mm. The position for releasing the ball baring is another issue. If the ball is being released from a higher or lower position compared to the previous test, it will have an affect on the initial velocity when leaving the ramp. Higher velocity will result in a bigger horizontal component and therefore uncertainties would be more or less i 1mm. The total uncertainty would be i 2mm. The plastic ramp also creates a problem. The end of the ramp is difficult to maintain a precise horizontal position because of the bendiness of the plastic ramp. This is an important factor because it has an affect on the initial velocity and therefore will change the results. It will create a vertical acceleration if it bends resulting in an increase in the horizontal component. In theory, we have assumed that the air through which the projectile moves has no effect on its motion, a reasonable assumption at low speeds. However, for a greater speed, the disagreement between calculations and the actual motion of the projectile can be large because the air opposes the motion of the projectile. So, a bigger h1 means the projectile will be in the air for longer; therefore the air resistance will affect the projectile more and consequently will reduce horizontal distance travelled. I believe this is the reason that the line on the graph isnt directly proportional to the x and y components. Therefore in the absence of air resistance, I believe that the graph produced would be directly proportional to both x and y components. In order to calculate the theoretical range, we have to find the horizontal and vertical component separately. I can use the following equations to find out both of the horizontal and vertical components.

The Dental Profession Essay example -- dentistry

The Dental Profession    As a senior biomedical engineering student at RPI, I am   receiving a particularly well-rounded education in engineering,   complemented by studies in the sciences and humanities.   During   my sophomore year, I became interested in dentistry and began to   select courses that would prepare me for dental school.   While   this meant additional work, I improved my study skills, and I   have earned a grade point average of 3.4 over the last three   years.   Because of this rigorous course load, I will be   graduating this August instead of last May.   I had planned on   applying to dental school this fall for the 1988-89 entering   class, but after receiving your letter earlier this month and   subsequently speaking with the admissions office, I found that   it was still possible to apply for the September 2002 entering   class.      My interest in the health care field began while I was in high   school.   I was first introduced to many different aspects of the &...

A balanced approach Essay

It is our main concern to keep children safe from harm. Doing this can be very hard, as at the same time we need to encourage children and young people to experience risk and challenges. If we try to remove all risks from children’s lives we could be restricting their learning experiences. Some risks obviously need to be avoided, otherwise we wouldn’t be competent in our role of caring for children and young people. Obviously the risks we allow children and young people to take should be appropriate to age, needs and ability, and a balanced approach should apply. We should not be excessively risk adverse and encourage children to have more independence, therefore creating more confidence. By allowing children to use and access certain equipment such as a trim trail or climbing frame, and giving them rules and boundaries to follow whilst using the equipment allows them to take certain risks without taking excessive risks. See more: The Issues Concerning Identity Theft Essay The children that I work with understand that when they are allowed access to the trim trail, they must follow the rules. There have been instances when children have not followed the rules and then have ended up with minor injuries from falling. Children now know that if the rules are not followed they will be removed from the activity on that occasion. However, by allowing children and young people to take certain risks, we must also remember to avoid excessive risk taking, for example, we should encourage children not to swing on chairs, and always demonstrate to children and young people how to use equipment correctly, i.e. scissors. It is very important your children and young people to be given the opportunity to take risks and challenges in order for them to develop a sense of self awareness. They need to understand the importance of potential risks to themselves and others around them. Children need to be encouraged to think about what risks may arise and how they can be avoi ded, and how they may impact on others and themselves.
